RIVER

Leave a comment

Bubbling and frothing, smacking and splashing;

Rocks and islands,  deserts and highlands

I wet them all, I love to fall

From over the mountains

Into the deep valleys

Passing through caverns

Into cracks and gullies

I am the river; strong and free

I break all rules of boundary

I belong to you, I belong to thee

But no one can change my destiny

I weave the thread of unity

To choose my path,I’ve liberty

To think of binding me is farcical

Because I am truly international!!
